Hopefully I can answer all your questions

Q: Why did you create this?

A: I've tried so many different VR Gunstocks and didn't like any of them. They were all too complicated, took too long to set up and had cumbersome magnets, cups and slings which killed my immersion rather than adding to it. So I learned 3d printing in order to create something that fits my gaming and immersion needs and hope that you will find. as much joy in it as I do :)

Q: Is this product intended for children?
A: The product is a virtual gunstock that looks and feels like a real rifle. While I would say no, it’s ultimately up to each parent’s discretion. I’m not here to raise your kids or give advice on that.

Q: Is this product durable?
A: This is a 3D printed object and can only achieve a certain strength. If you smack it against a wall, floor, or any other surface, it will most likely break. Swing it around with too much force and it will probably break. However, if used as intended, it should last just fine. It’s probably more durable than your Valve Knuckles.

Q: What should I do if it breaks?
A: Superglue is your friend.

Q: Is there a left-handed version?
A: Yes, there is a left-handed version available on the product page if I set everything up correctly.

Q: Which VR controllers will this work with?
A: Currently, the product only works with the Valve Index Knuckles (not supplied), but more are in the works.

Q: Are more versions for other controllers such as the Quest coming?
A: Potentially, yes. Headsets like the Quest use inside-out tracking, which requires a full view of the tracking parts on the controller. I have not yet tested if I can make the Raven work for the Quest without covering the tracking parts of the controller. Stay tuned!

Q: How is it modular?
A: The Raven has been designed to easily switch out the main parts. The shotgun attachment can be changed to future front modules. The mag, where the off-hand rests, can be exchanged by the press of a button to adapt the gunstock to any game. Currently, the stock comes with an all-rounder mag and one for the SMGs in Pavlov. The buttstock itself is also easily changeable, and more models will be coming soon.
